These T Shirt's are made from 100% recycled materials and carry the Salvage symbol which means it is a certified product under the Global recycle standard. Waste cuttings from organic cotton clothing are salvaged, shredded, mixed with added fibers from recycled plastic bottles which results in the cotton and polyester blend used in the T Shirt.

Sustainable Manufacturing
Sustainable manufacturing is the creation of manufactured products through economically sound processes that minimise negative environmental impacts whilst conserving energy and natural resources. The garment industry is one of the most environmental damaging industrial sectors on the plants - once this is acknowledged we can start to address the negative impacts through careful sourcing of raw materials to supporting high profile campaigns such as the Clean Cotton Campaign and the Pesticide Action Group. Reducing the carbon footprint in manufacture is an important part of sustainable manufacturing, as is using GOTS approved chemicals in the dying process and using low water and controlled discharge processes.
